I remember my good circus fan friend Mike Piccolo who knew the both well that Floyd said take a little off the top.
Hans Ruwill, told me that Maley gave him hell for the money he missed on the walk a ways in the ticket office.
After The Cristiani Family parted ways with Floyd King after the 1953 Season....Arnold Maley became a partner in the the King Show starting in 1954. It seems to be common knowledge that Arnold Maley did quite well for himself in the Red Wagon.....through walk aways and his gift of short change. It seems that he was well heeled from that position. Having said that, Ann Dingler, wife of Red Dingler worked in the ticket wagon and also performed in the main show, Web, ladder, etc. She said that Arnold Maley made sure that the circus received every dime in ticket sales....He only took the walk aways and etc. Does anyone on this Blog have any idea of the financial arrangement between Arold Maley and Floyd King for the buy in for the 1954 Season.....Even any speculation as to what transpired in that deal?????

I apologize for the double posting....I honestly don't know what I did to cause this error.

I'm afraid I don't know what a walk-away is. Could someone explain?
