They brought in a portable scale to weigh "Amy" but I can't remember why?
No doubt some kind of publicity stunt.

The felllow on the other side of the wall from Amy is actually "lifting" her up on his shoulders. He was a Hindu(?) guru named Sri Chinmoy. Actually came to BAC several times (usually in Queens). He sent some of his followers, workers to help tear down and set up at other times.
