This is at "Eartha Kitt's" home in calif. we went there every day off. It was wonderful. We went swimming all the time. It was great. Eartha was still on Broadway. She had her caretakers fix cookouts for us, and made sure we had everything we needed. We met a lot of her friends there. One I remember real well was the star that was n in "Flower Drum Song." But darn if I am sure of her name , I think she was "Miyoshi Umeki." She sang "A HUNDRED MILLION MIRACLES." She had gained a bit of weight. But she was the one that sang that beautiful song. Boy I am full of information. It was not "Nancy Kwan." I always get off the subject at hand. We had a ball at "Eartha's" place. "Eartha planted all her own vegetables, and had them flown to where ever she was. And she cooked them in a wok.......Barbara........
Both of those ladies were in
the "Flower Drum Song" film
in 61 Miyoshi was the ingenue
& Nancy was the nightclub
singer / entertainer
Miyoshi was also in the
original Broadway cast
with Pat Suzuki in 58
That hat looks like a real
