Great gal with a shovel
(or anything else)
The narrow ramp of death
on the ass end of the
merry muck & manure truck
behind her proved to be
a wheelbarrow handling
test every day
It was called "El Rampo Del Morte"
Well guys, as I've detailed previously, I believe "Blackie" ran my first "load" up the ramp for me but after that, I realized that I would only CONTINUE to receive SNICKERS and RIDICULE until I mastered El Rampo Del Morte!
My first few "loads" were carefully calculated with just a few "turds" until I got the hang of it!!! As I recall, it was just a length of channel iron that was about 6" wide!
TA - DA!!!!!

It was actually about
16" wide but barely
enough for your feet
It seemed like 4"
A balanced load was
absolutely critical
I never attempted it
mind you but I watched
trying hard to hide my
amusement
The" Ramp of Death" was only 6 to 8 inches wide that was what was so difficult to keep your balance..one foot in front of the other..no more room and of course it was slick with piss and shit..
We had the same truck and ramp in Winter Quarters..I had the job of driving it to the dump every other day..
