THESE MAGAZINES WERE PUBLISHED IN 1978. FRED NATHAN WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE ARTICLES. AND HE TOLD ME THAT HE GOT A $50:00 A WEEK RAISE FOR PROMOTING THEM. SHANNON HELPED HIM PUT THESE ON THE BLOG. HE HAD HIS BLOG SET UP TO SHOW MORE PHOTOS OF SCOTT RIDDLE, WHICH I THINK HE IS STILL GOING TO PUT ON. I ASK SHANNON TO SCAN THEM FROM THE COVER ON. HOPE THEY ARE NOT A BORE.........BARBARA........

AFTER THE PHOTOGRAPHER FINISHED, TAKING ALL THE PICTURES, THE EDITOR SENT HIM BACK TO THE CIRCUS ASKING FOR A PICTURE OF ANNA MAY'S EYE AND MY FACE. SO THAT IS WHERE WE CAME UP WITH THAT OLD "JEAN ALLEN" POISE ( MY MENTOR'S MOUNT.) I FELT VERY HONORED AS THE ARTICLE WAS ABOUT " ERVIN FELD.".......Barbara........

We fans of Linda Ronstadt are saddened that her singing career has been ended by Parkinson's disease--which she is facing with admirable courage.

It is so hard when a big star like that comes down with that type of illness. I feel we somehow begin to think things like that don't touch THEM. That they should someway be super human with all that talent. Like Julie Andrews and her beautiful voice. But they are human just like us.........Barbara.......
