This was a very happy time. Lee Meriwether used to send us an invitation to any Plays that she was in when she was in our area. Buckles was gone working. So I took my sister Peggy McBride with me. I was very impressed with Van Johnson. He knew more about Circus than I do. I wished that Buckles could have been there to talk to him. Lee and I became friends when we were on tour in 1978 & 1979. Her daughters used to baby sit with Shannon & Dalilah. Lesley & Kyle, they were such sweet girls. I am in touch with Lesley on F.B. She is a gas. I love her sense of humor. And back to the play it was great. Only three people in the play. " Detective " was the name of the play. I don't remember the other actor's name, but I see him on T.V. sometimes..........Barbara........
I AM SORRY ABOUT THE BLOG THIS MORNING. I AM TO BLAM. I INTERRUPTED BUCKLES WHEN HE HAD JUST STARTED THE BLOG. I GOT HIM TOO DISTRACTED. I SHOULD NOT BUTT IN WHEN HE IS WORKING. I WAS UPSET SOMEONE SENT IN A E-MAIL THAT JACK RYAN HAD PASSED AWAY ON THE 25th. I THINK BUCKLES WAS UPSET ALSO. I WILL TRY TO MAKE IT UP TO EVERYONE. MAYBE BUCKLES WILL BE UP TO THE BLOG A LITTLE LATER. MUCH LOVE TO ALL...........Barbara.........
