I'm told the train has

the elephants (& other
stuff) aren't carried
They did a shakedown run
in Fresno prior to the
LA opening engagement
(to lukewarm response)
Maybe Slicky Tricky
Dicky could take a
longshot bid for the
endgame remains of
whatever is left
The concept of circus
& ice together is not
a new (or novel) idea
There was a question on the Circus Historical Society site, "Why do many ex Olympic contestants and other athletes join circuses?" My opinion - they have no where else to go, and one result is that circuses have become more like exhibitions than entertainments. It's been going on for a long time. I don't fault their talents, but the truth is, it takes more than talent to be "show-biz"!
Is it me, or is "Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey" nowhere to be seen?
