Chic....Two of the sisters, Cosetta and Chita are not in this photo...So only eight of the original Cristiani Family. Corky and Ortans are shown....The other two women are June Cristiani (Lucio's first wife) and La Louisa (Daviso's wife).
Completely understand Chic.....The Cristiani Family was in Macon at Central City Park when I was a small boy......What a family......Once you saw them perform, you knew you had seen the best. The Cristiani name will always bring back great memories of long ago....And a much more simple time when the circus was the circus...With a tent, live band, sideshows on the Midway and even elephants. Where did it all go?

Thanks Charles as my error was
based solely on the head count
& not on recognition

I met some of the family in the
early 60s while visiting their
Cristiani Wallace Show & then
again some years later when I
brought some lighting equipment
to their United Nations Circus
not very long before it closed
I got know Lucio fairly well
when he assembled the Riding
Franconis for the Beatty Show
I am grateful every day Charles
to have been around & involved
in both circus & the legitimate
theater when it was all at a very
high point in live entertainment
Not likely to ever be again
