Bob Gable lived in New York and had a large Beatty collection. I told him about Dave Price and later Bob's Beatty material went to Dave.
When I knew Bob he was quite old. He came to antique paper shows in Allentown with a group from New York. Ask Hovey Burgess, well known circus guy in New York, about Gable.
In my visit last month to Clyde Beatty's mausoleum, I also paid respects, and indeed affection, to Parley and Ernestine Baer's resting places. JACKIE mentions Stan Laurel, whose marker is in a section very near Parley and Ernie. I paused in honor of him, as well.
