This photo was taken in 1947 in Sarasota when the Sparks rail show played Sarasota. On the left is the lovely Mable Ringling, daughter of Richard Ringling and granddaughter of Alf T. Her mother Aubrey Haley and her husband Jim are on the left.

In the center with hat is James Edgar, who had leased the Sparks title from RBBB for the '46 (motorized)and '47 (rail) seasons. He had been a director of RBBB in 1945. He was a good friend of Aubrey and that accounted for his position. And also his ability to lease one of the famous titles owned by the big one. All efforts by others to lease the old ACC titles came to naught.
