In '64, Walter was on the lot as co-manager with Joe Galasso. At one point, Joe was day manager, and Walter was night manager, the one who saw the show torn down, and who followed the mechanic's wagon behind the rest of the fleet. Two whispers persisted about Walter--one that he was the brother Frank looked down on, so he called him a nephew, and one that Walter was actually a brother, and was brought over to be kept an eye on. Both Walter and Joe were working directly under General Manager Frank Orman. Walter died years later when he drove his car into a tree.
Way back, before the handbalancing act, Joe Galasso was in the Loyal Repensky riding act. So was his wife. You can see the act in Chappie's Performing Horses book. Pic was taken by my Dad at the Allentown Fair.

Maria (Mrs. Tommy) Clarke poses with Walter McClosky, owner Frank McClosky's nephew.
I believe Walter was Frank's brother
who worked in the Winter Park office
The original family name
from Poland was Miklaszewski
That's pronounced
MIK LESHEVSKY
