That's the bush elephant Sudan with Davis, brought over by Howard Bary in 1936 from Gangala-na-Bodio, Belgian Congo with two others (Pouquois and Congo)that were genuine forest elephants.
In front with the Chinese lady (possibly one of the Naittos) are the midget donkeys, called Pongurs. RBBB got them from India and they arrived on the show at Pittsburgh in July 1936 and were a feature of the menagerie.
