I'm bummed I forgot they were going to be there this weekend I had wanted to go, and maybe get Barry to sign his book. Hope it was a good show
I was at last night's (Saturday) 6:PM performance. Enjoyed the show butI thought it strange that there was no the cage act. Thank you Paul for the information on what happened to cage act and Vicenta Pages. I really would have liked to have seen her. Does anyone know if she presented in any of the remaining shows?
Henry, I wish I had known you were there last night as I was too. I would have very much have liked to have met you face to face.
I believe Vicenta is with Hanneford for awhile and pretty sure she will be in Morristown , NJ (Mennen Arena) in May, Salaam Shrine Circus.
I am going back to White Plains again today, last shows at 10-2 + 6. Best, P.
And Barry "Grandma" did his usual terrific work.

He has tried a few times to retire
to Switzerland where his wife lives
but he remains in demand & enjoys
working (some of the time)

Hello Chic, Vicenta's parents are Jorge (George) Pages and Frieda Logan Pages. Frieda Logan Pages is Fred Logan's daughter and Vicenta his granddaughter.

Barry Lubin is NOT married and he now lives back in the USA(NJ) and he was indeed in the show and in fact the featured icon in all the advertising; I sent Buckles a pic of the poster which was also all over the local papers. Henry, I live in NE NJ: up the Garden State Parkway and over the Tappan Zee Bridge, the old one , new one under construction looks massive. Going up today, Monday, weather was in teens and OK, I left the Civic Center going on 10, wet snow, rain, ice, lousy visibility roads terrible. Fortunately most, repeat most, there were still a few AH's on the road, were going 35 -45 MPH. By the grace of God I got home OK and fishtailed up my driveway. We'll figure something out for next time.
Pardon me : Damnit, I did mention that Grandma was featured. Anyone who does not know who GRANDMA is should not be on this wonderful Blog!

Hi Paul, Very happy you made home safely. Been there, done that. Due to the unpredictable weather this time of year I usually wait until the last minute making plans to see the Hanneford Circus.
I live in Westchester, 20-25 minutes from the County Center. I can't recall how many years I have been going to see the Hanneford Circus there. I have some good memories from those times.
Do you remember Hanneford's predecessors at the County Center? The Pan American Circus and the Shrine Circus? I saw a young Wade Burck there with the Shrine Circus.
I can never get enough of "Grandma". eBay is offering a "Grandma" bobblehead.
