End Of An Era!

I just learned that removal of the Ringling elephants on tour to their permanent Facility in Florida has been moved up to just two months from now.
Like I always told Chico and Gary, "Business is Picking Up!"

Not very long ago major wagers

would have been bet against it

Buckles,

I think it goes far beyond the ending of an era. When horse and buggy stopped being the primary source of transportation, that was the ending of an era. You can still use a horse and buggy as a hobby or if you are Amish. This is the ending of an existence. No more, never again. Hobby, Amish or otherwise. Should have seen it coming when they quit manufacturing twisted willow whip's because there were not enough buyer's for the product.........

VERY SORRY TO HEAR...
I'M attending their last New York City opening night on Feb. 25 at Barclay Center.
I'll tip my hat to you Buckles..at the show.. and to all elephant presenters and personnel... and indeed the Ringling Show. (My first visit was in Ft. Wayne, Indiana in 1946 under canvas.) There will be tears!!!
I do realize I'm seeing the LEGENDS show from 20014 again!!

Aside from it being a retreaded show

interesting that the last performance

of Ringling elephants in NYC won't be

in "The Garden" but in Brooklyn at that

What an ignominious finish trick

What do you call the year

after "The Rodeo Route"

Some kinda desperation

Reports have said that a new show will debut this Summer on the west coast?? This has to be the first time in its long history that no new show debuted in Spring......

Reports say they will debut their new "elphant-free" show this summer on the west coast. This has to be the first time in its history there was no new show in January (or Spring as in earlier years).....

Yup about the "newer" production

to open out West but I wouldn't

wager on "in its long history"

There have been many versions

of "circus history"
