.....gather up your crap and get off the lot!

JACKIE said...: Gloria Graham, between the men, was one of the loveliest woman I ever met. We were very close during the filming on the lot, always arm and arm. I was only 23 Years old at that time. She taught me a good lesson. We were together one day walking around when a little old lady approached her. She immediately said to Gloria, "Gloria, do you remember me?". Gloria, politely replied, "What a terrible thing to say to anybody?", and I agreed with her. It is so much nicer to say when you have not seen anybody for a time, "I'm May Scheider"(or what ever it is), and then, "Do you remember me?". Then you can say "Of course, I am so glad to see you". Since then, when ever I come up to anyone who has not been around me for a while, I will always approach them by saying, "Im Jackie LeClaire, it's good to see you." That puts the person at ease and does not have to wrack their brain trying to remember every bodies name that approaches them. Think how how much more comfortable it makes the person you approach feel. The person can always say, "Sure I remember you", and then all is well and comfortable. Jackie LeClaire
