Later on Ethel married Jack Joyce
Wood quarters
Ethel and Jack Joyce came to Thousand Oaks when his mother, also named Ethel, died in
1968. She was a near-by neighbor, and Jack recruited me to serve among the pallbearers. After the service, we all gathered for jackpots. Jack was then assistant performance director on RBB, and said to Ethel, "Honey, you know, we ought to get Roger over there with us." He didn't say in what capacity, and I never saw either of them again.
Ethel Jennier did a stellar single trap act concluding with a standing backward fall into an ankle drop....She also rolled up the web....Along with Walter and Buddy the seal...They were a nice addition to any show they were on. Ethel Jennier could style an act like no other....Even later on when she presented the Greyhounds.
