#2 "Kenya"

"Millie", "Opal" and "Anna May" with the two little guys I had added, "Stella" and "Kenya"
Off Subject, my wife wants us to take cruise some place.....I told her my last experience at sea was on a Troop Ship and I recall being quite ill!

Do it! Pretty smooth sailing these days. You are very fortunate to live so close to the Port of Tampa. Family drops you off and picks you up. No airline hassles. Piece of cake.

Cruising on the European rivers

is perfect for queasy travelers

My wife & I did a 2 week cruise

on Viking River Cruises 2 years

ago from Budapest to Amsterdam

They are an all inclusive line

A fabulous trip & many great

opportunities to see cities

It was like sailing on a lake

Excellent dining & all the

wine & beer you could drink

Traversing the 70 or so locks

along the 4 rivers was great

Check out the lawsuits Bob

regarding "Anthem of the Seas"

perhaps the largest cruise ship

getting caught in a typhoon

off the Atlantic coast just

a few months ago & losing power

They were towed back to port

Pretty rare occurrences although the Anthem fiasco left me scratching my head as to why the captain pressed ahead. In most cases, one can hardly feel any movement at sea because of the stabilizers (12 cruises under my belt). Have seen Viking from the river banks--always looks cool.
