#10 1950 Kelly-Miller

Show played seven days a week with only a Matinee on Sunday.
This a Sunday tear down with George Williams and "Tena" pulling op tent stobs.
I don't know who came up with this gimmick, a lot better than just wrapping the chain around the stake and hold it down with your foot.

Why would steel stakes rather than wooden be used on a dirt lot like this?

DEPENDS ON THE CONDITION OF THE LOT.
WHEN YOU ARRIVED THE LOT SUPERINTENDENT WOULD SAY, SHORT IRON, LONG IRON OR WOOD.
