 Wife and I went to the Grocery Store, Pet Shop, dined at Applebees and I got a hair cut yesterday, too much excitement for one day..... must cut back.....here we see Intermission at White Plains, NY with a Mug Joint at right, Horse ride and in the foreground giving the kiddies the thrill of a lifetime by riding the Big Circus Elephant!......Been There!, Done That! |

Paul, Are you sure there Elephant Rides(No Howdauds). With the fence in front looks as if photos were the only thing available. Just an observation.
No, sorry, no elephant rides in NY, but you just sit here two feet away and we'll take yer picture.
The show opens is here in Columbia, SC tonight at the Shrine Center. We have about 17 Fans, CHS & CMB people getting together at our home here tomorrow night and then going to the 10:00 AM performance on Saturday. With the South Carolina Primary going on this weekend there`s going to be 2 big shows here, one good and the other mostly a Crock of Shit. I`ll let you guess which one is the Crock of Shit!!

God awful building, on my personal list of "Worst of MY Life." Played it once with Hamid in the late 70's after Hannaford lost it. Upon arrival, Shrine showed me where to put the tiger's. When I said "there is enough room," they told me "Struppi kept her tiger's here." "Yeah," I replied, "she had 8 and I have 17. Again, there is not enough room........" Ended up putting them on the stage in two line's and loading them one at a time into the elevator to take them down to the performance floor. They wanted me to "work them out of the truck" as it was only 3 day's and that's what Hannaford always did. I have never done that, and never will and insisted that they rent a tent. First night it snowed and at 3:00 AM myself and my crew were fighting a collapsed tent. Spent the next three day's sleeping in shift's so the tent could be watched, half the time freezing as the heater's kept malfunctioning. Yes, sir show business is alright. I miss it about as much as I miss my last root canal........... :)
