Don Foote instructed her to drag this robe behind and drop it as she entered the ring.

Buckles , Don Foote had two robes made like that, But he did not make it for on stage. He made them for me to wear back stage. And they were six inches longer, with instructions to lounge luxuriously in them, and dragging them luxuriously behind me. I just could not drag six inch of that lovely robe behind me. So I begged Don to cut a little off. I worshipped ALL OF DON FOOTE'S COSTUMES. He was so talented. And he was so good to me. He sent me a card saying that he had finally gotten someone that knew how to wear a costume, and I had to go and mess up my back. He said I was the only one that didn't need to have all my costumes refurbished. Only one that was the purple, aqua, & pink costume I wore for the big elephant number. They referred to that as manage, in my day the horses were called manage. My Mother didn't allow us to----Sit---Eat---Drink---Smoke---( of course I never smoked.) SO THESE RULES STUCK. THEY WERE OUR LAW. And I still believe in these rules. If I see someone doing these things in their wardrobe, I go bananas. It just should not be done. And Don Foote liked this, but no one on the show followed these rules........Barbara.......

ahem... Your Daughter-in-law did, as did your Grandchildren. That was a major rule on RBBBC and where ever else I went. I just assumed that was a common rule. No wonder why Ben said Munzie would just love me! ;)
