As mentioned before, the Miller-Woodcock elephant act was dissolved in 1964 following the Worlds Fair and I was contacted by Mack MacDonald who was considering retirement and asked if we would be interested in taking over the Polack elephants. Here am I some time later marching from the Chicago Armory where we kept the elephants at night to Medinah Temple with "Anna May", "Jean", "Millie", "Opal" and "Kae" plus the two youngsters the show added for me "Kenya" and "Stella". |

How many seasons were you with Polack
With Polack Bros. 1965-68.
I might add that Rex Williams was offered the job first and in fact called asking if I would be interested in replacing him with CBCB and I thanked him but explained that the job sounded complicated with the elephant crew doing Chinese on the Marquee top, etc. next day he calls back saying McKluskey had squared him away.
I then get a call from Mack damning Rex Williams to the grave and then asked if I would be interested so I referred him to my Business Manager and she made the deal.
