Jacot or not Jambo, probably the ugliest, most inappropriate behavior ever taught to a feline!!!!!! Followed only by an elephant trike for ugly. Leave that work for primates and bears.
I don't think it's a Jacot trick, pedestals on the floor and it's not his style (the "world's largest snapping turtle" is a Jacot trick.) However, it might be a St. Louis Zoo photo from Mike Kostial Sr.' lion "kindergarten" act. "Big Mike" was the father of well known chimp trainer Mike Kostial Jr. and was at the Zoo from 1933 until his death in 1942. He trained at least two acts with young lions and leopards. I know he and his associate, Richard Havermann trained a sea lion to ride a tricycle (that sucked too.) Wouldn't surprise me if he had a trike riding lion.
Agreed, WADE. This is just too damn goofy. Jacot was known for being "death on tricks". He could train cats to do anything they could physically do, and often beyond what other trainers achieved. But being able to train it, doesn't mean you should.

Steady Wade, the Capt trained Major a Tuff little male to ride a trike at Circus World and rode it everyday..:)
Gary,
Roger pretty much said it, "just because you can train it, doesn't mean you should."
