Cole Bros. #8

This is Arky Scott's elephant horse "Circus". I remember my father saying that the US Army was experimenting by drawing blood from horses at a facility at the Louisville Fairgrounds where the Cole show wintered during WW2 to see if it was compatible to Plasma but before doing so, shaved them bald as seen here. A number of which were given to the show after afterward.
