Albums #1

When I first started piddling with the Blog I wondered which would last longest, my supply of pictures or me.
I am down to the Family Albums, maybe there's something I should know.

This is "Rebecca" formerly with Billy Smart Circus, nice elephant but always wanted to walk on the left side of the road.

of course she would be on the left being British trained - after all you must leave your sword arm free for possible action (90% of people are right handed)in case of attack. This is reputed to be one of the reasons we over here drive on the "correct" side of the road (i.e. the left)and get extremely puzzled by what the rest of you get up to....

I was raised thinking I was of British descent but later learned that my father had been adopted and his birth name was Messer.
But I must add.....I turned out an agreeable old Kraut-Head!

Years ago a well known man of wealth from Illinois when upset with his German bear training wife used to exclaim "stop being such a stupid cabbage head, my dear!!!!" To which said bear trainer would respond, "don't you mean stupid Kraut head, and don't my dear me....."

That well known man of wealth Wade

has recently dumped yet another wife

& has taken up with a horse trainer

Chic,

Maybe that's why he's a man of wealth. It makes good business sense to marry the trainer and support them as a spouse, more economical and always having the upper hand. An independent contractor can be very expensive, in addition to being very arrogant and difficult to control. At least that is what he told me each year at re-up contract time.............
