This book is a must have if you like Buffalo Billl. It is full of great info and pics. Also, it is a bargain if you can find it in one of cheap Ollie type stores. It should be available on the net. It is one of my favorites to just leaf thru and check out all the lithos, couriers, programs, etc.

A good companion to this book is WILD WEST MUSIC OF BUFFALO BILL'S COWBOY BAND performed by the Americus Brass Band (augmented with a few woodwinds.) This is a CD of music once performed by Buffalo Bill's Cowboy Band, heard in authentic old arrangements. In addition to the CD, there are extensive liner notes about the music, Buffalo Bill, the Wild West Show, etc. Lots of old photos, too. Highly recommended.

The fan magazines, WHITE TOPS and BANDWAGON, have both given extensive coverage to Buffalo Bill's history, including full color covers. Most of this history is well-researched and worth all efforts to re-discover the select issues.
