"Charlie"

This picture is dated Nov. 22, 1974 our first year at RBBB Circus World. Rex Williams called saying he had taken delivery on a baby elephant that was much smaller than he had anticipated, in fact still on a bottle, and he wanted to make a trade for something older. So we loaded up a young elephant named "Hope" that he immediately changed to "Gyp" and away they went. A deed that would probably warrant a Prison Sentence today. I might add that "Gyp" later begat "Brat" whom a few of you might remember.
