Jim and Scary are right. It's Gold. He was featured for a time on Vargas. In '75, I closed with Suesz in Hammond, Indiana. He had offered me 14 more weeks to take the 7 tigers to Vargas. I'd already heard of Cliff's passion for shrieking and screaming, and firing cat acts, and quite comfortably turned it down. I never knew Gold, but hope he fared better with Cliff than I would have.
Affirmative on Alan Gold cat man on Vargas while I worked there. I did not know much about his personal life, I believe he was married to a nice woman who also worked with him. Quiet but pleasant people.

Not Jewel I think it's Bob Golden
with a Cuneo cat act
Thats Allen Goldberg
Another vote for Alan Gold. (I know it's really Goldberg, just used Gold in the ring. As to how he spelled his first name?)
