That is "Freckles" one of the llama's that, prior to Lalea's training, was just at the Rare Bird and Animal Farm for visitors to look at. Freckles was one of a total of six llamas that performed a spectacular liberty drill.
Yes, I go back to Fairlee often. Unfortunately, nothing is left of the "Farm" (i.e., The Rare Bird & Animal Farm) as we used to call it. All the out buildings, cages, animal pens, etc. are long gone. And our house (that was beautiful in it's day) is now a run down three apartment complex. So sad that a once thriving tourist attraction is now gone.

Is this a llama or a guanaco

How nice of you to join our
Brigade of Buckles & to help
us with 1st hand information
Hopefully you can get pleasure
out of these historic images
As we all can gain an insight
into your family's operation
I imagine you had opportunity
to work with & care for many
of the animals at your farm park
Aside from the obvious Queenie
which others were favorites
Do you keep any animals now
From a story I found about
your family's great endeavor
it's great to read your notes
to bring some of it to life
Many thanks Liz
From what I've read Liz you now
live about an hour & a half from
Fairlee so do you ever go back
to see the current state of it
