I remember these colored dots on the elephants from when I first saw the Ringling show in 1961.
Egad.
Wasn't that number called the Polka Dot Polka?
Here we see the traditional red & white calabana & the alternating diamond ring curbs
BOB: Yes, it was, and to me it was a turn-off. Worse was that awful song poor Harold Ronk had to sing for it.
