Late 1950's #15


When the show folded abruptly under canvas in 1956 the only thing booked for sure were New York and Boston Gardens and played anywhere they could until permanent routes were established.
They first few seasons they had mid-summer lay-offs as seen here at the Fairgrounds in Baraboo.

Having Ringling Brothers Circus doing one of their layoffs in Baraboo must have brought back a lot of memories for the older citizens that had seen the Ringling Brothers Circus grow bigger year by year.
