Circus 1963 #1 (From Buckles)": The Mills Brothers Circus came to Mayville, NY in 1957 and Lena the elephant stayed behind and lived in the garage under the exotic pet store in Mayville from June to December. She marched in the 4th of July parade, was featured at the Republican picnic, and helped to open the new Super Duper in Jamestown. I'm writing a history and would love to hear from anyone who knows more about Lena and the Mills Circus.
