Picture is of Ruth, Lew (Dad), and the first Marko. Dad trained three Chimps over the years, but always kept the ads as Marko. They all accomplished the head balancing traps. Dad did head balancing traps himself up until 1949. The rigging and other props are now in my garage. Ruth often worked with Dad, until the fatal accident in 1959. Mother assisted in the act, but refused to go on TV. Claimed to be too old. They were both in their sixties in 1955. Dad had the act booked in 1975 when he died, and Mother and brother, Rich, continued with the chimp and dogs for another couple of years.

Oops! Dad had the act booked in 1966 when he was 75 years old. I'm 87 and make a few mistakes now and then.
