Thayer did some research on Chicago lots but I forget if he ever published. I do recall his telling me the big show had played farther north on the lake front than Grant Park.
Lest I confuse the elderly among your readers, the term "Chicago Lots" was also used to indicate various communities around the city. I meant it here regarding lake front lots.
I cannot help mentioning that I hate what they've done to Soldier Field. That ought to get some flack.
