"Bertha" was eventually sold to The Nuggett in Reno but not without controversy. Wilbur Deppe's son was the designated driver for her delivery and at the first Truck Stop he and Jenda had an argument while eating and after paying the check he went out side to find the truck empty. He finally overtook Jenda aboard "Bertha" about a half mile down the highway, a truce was made and they continued on.
