From Tony Greiner #1

Here are some of my Carson & Barnes #2 snap-shots from 1978. I saw in the most recent Circus Report that Rosa Gibbs had passed away in Houston.
She was always nice to me. She and Bobby are in some of these shots, doing a three-elephant act I believe you trained, with Lydia, Marie and Minnie.

Casey, I once had a dish of baked bananas, sliced the long ways, with a sort of light brown sauce over them. I don't remember who made it. Is that the way Rosa prepared them?

No Chic. She would give you one of her red hot jalopinos and tell kids it was a banana to sucker them into biting into it. Yea Tony her bean dish was the best but you had to watch her because she would sneak her hot sauce onto them. A lot of times Bobby would always pass his plate on to you if she severed him 1st just to watch your face after the 1st bite.
