This was the top when I joined in late summer. I nearly turned around.
It was the old George Mathews Great London Circus top. Much of the equipment
was from that show as well.

Looks to be about a 69 Galaxie 500
This top is not as bad as the Gentry top recently posted here. You almost turned around. Emmett Kelly wrote that when he and Eva arrived on the Gentry lot, he viewed the patched and ugly condition. He got the low-down from an old showhand, and did turn around. The grass was not greener, after all. He and Eva went back to the show they had left.
