Catcher Eddie Ward, Antoinette and Arthur Concello. Robert Osbourne credits Ward with the aerial doubling when TCM runs TRAPEZE. Billy Barton wrote a series of articles for CIRCUS REPORT on the life of Fay Alexander, and an entire chapter on the movie. Fay was done up like Gina Lollobrigida, but Miss L protested over him being "too ooglee", so poor Eddie Ward donned her drag, and went up for her trips off the board. Willie Krause doubled in the catch trap for Burt Lancaster's Mike Ribble, and of course, Fay not only did the Tony Curtis flying, but with the other names not acknowledged, he won the sole screen credit, which reads "Technical Advisor - Flying Sequences...Fay Alexander. Still, Ward, with no screen credit, is the only one Osbourne names.
