For those that aren't following the titles in these photos, the King Bros. ( Floyd King and Arnold Maley ) joined up with Lucio Cristiani for the 1952 and 1953 seasons using the King Bros. Cristiani title. In 1954, they had gone their separate ways again and the title went back to just the King Bros. Circus. The Cristiani Bros. Circus would go out in 1956 for the first time.

Bob Don't forget that in 1954 the Cristianis went with Big Bob to form Bailey Bros-Cristiani and took it to Alaska.

The Cristiani Family actually joined forces with Floyd King in 1949 (after the miserable 1948 tour). Supposedly, the show owed back wages to the so called "Little Cristianis'" who had toured with Floyd King in 1946, 1947 and 1948. The troupe consisted of Cosetta, Chita, and their respective husbands Remo and Tripoli. The King Bros. Cristiani Title was first used in 1952 as previously reported. Floyd King had folded in Rosenberg, Texas in 1948....unable to go any further and wintered in that city. The Cristiani Family came on board and a highly successful partnership was formed.
