Received this picture from Paul last night with the following message:

FILLING IN FOR HIS DAD WHO IS STILL IN HOSPITAL
WORKING 2 WITH PATTY , VERY NICE, ALSO DOING RIDES."
I had heard that Tim was in the Hospital but I am so out of touch with things these days I have no idea what show this is or the elephant. Looks like a Carson & Barnes headpiece.

Is Beatty-Cole up in New England this early?

Cole Bros Circus has the Carson and Barnes elephants leased for the season and they are in Garfield, New Jersey today.
I hope Tim Frisco is doing great and has a fast recovery as he is one of the best elephant men in the country today.
Buckles, just like you I told Johnny Pugh it will take me 20 years to stop saying Clyde Beatty Cole Bros and say Cole Bros Circus what it is today.

Thanks Harry, you are quite right. After being with the show since this Tuesday I am starting to fade, on my feet most of the time and feeling my advancing years advance too rapidly. Patty Is Tim's wife, does a classic leg carry among many other things. Great folks as most of you know. I first met Tim way back in Hoxie Days. Will look for a quick pic. CBCB is in Garfield through tomorrow. Hoping Elvin will be out and about before they leave.

Yes sir would like to here about that 5 by 7 glass plate camera as that is old and the photos you would get from 5 by 7 and 8 by 10,WOW.
I have a 12 by 20 folmer and swhing banquet like E J Kelty used and the wood film holders were $500 when you could find one.
Using it stopped traffic at the Grand Canyon.
Circus is number one and then cameras number two hobbies.
I got a great big plastic tube full of circus goodies to give to Johnny Pugh when I catch the circus this Fall and I have so much fun seeing the tent go up and all the new ideas and things Johnny comes up with for Cole.
Johnny is so proud of Cole Bros and it shows as her is a showman and a half and have known him for many and I am always welcomed on Cole.
They sure are great to us fans and I hope they have a money making season.
