Dick Scatteday managed to make a deal with Chevrolet whereas the show got an incredible discount on a fleet of cab-over trucks and in return agreed to march a herd of elephants down to the local Chevrolet dealership each morning bearing Chevrolet blankets.

Many of you may remember the fellow that designed those elephant blankets. His name was George DaDeppo, he worked for Chevrolet at the time as an artist in the design dept. Geo. was a great circus fan and did a good amount of artwork for various shows, over the years.
