Early 1950's K-M #9



Dick Scatterday managed to come up with some incredible deals with nationally known companies to take stuff down town each morning.  Chevrolet  even supplied a fleet of brand new cab-over tractors at great discount with uniforms and elephant blankets.

I have one of these 1/2 sheets framed and hanging a wall in my family room. Geo. DaDeppo was working for Chevrolet at the time, in the Art Dept. And told me the blankets were shipped back to Chevrolet at the end of each season and , shall we call it, refurbished.
