Yesterday's gathering at Beef's

Buckles took me along to the lunch at Beef 'O' Brady's yesterday. I had a great time as Chic Silber brought along my DEAR FRIENDS, Kenny Dodd,& Jackie LeClaire. And my other DEAR FRIEND Lee Stevens. (Who Buckles & I were Matron of Honor & Best Man at he and Judy's wedding.) And they will be celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary soon. They were married in the tent in Baraboo, Wi. Circus World. We felt very honored to have had such an important part in their marriage. There were so many of our friends there. I know I am repeating myself, but I really enjoyed myself. And on top of all of the every thing we didn't have a car. For Buckles just wrecked it the day before. He is bruised and sore, but THANK "GOD". He is okay. Our dear friend Jim Elliott picked us up and took us to lunch, then after lunch he took us to the wrecker service, so I could sign the release for our car to go to be repaired. Thanks again Jim. Paul I. was there also. As I understand it John Herriot & Roy Wells were the ones that started this get together. ALL MADE A TOAST TO JOHNNY. It was so nice. Sorry I have not mentioned every ones names that were there.....Barbara.....

Was wonderful seeing you Barbara ! Didn't expect to see you there much less Kenny and Jackie ! Just a great time as always ..we either need to make reservations or go to a bigger Joint to eat !!! I'm looking forward to our next outing already..best to you and Buckles and see ya soon..
