Is this Keller?

I believe he is Bill Horn who took over after Prof. Keller died

BOB's right. Prof. Keller died of a heart attack in the cage, in 1960, in Corpus Christi--when it was still a Texas Date. Bill Scamihorne took over almost at once, married the Prof's widow, Ginny, and continued the act, working as Bill Horne.

Keller was an interesting guy and full of enthusiasm. I got scratched by one of his young leopards and had a red badge of courage, more or less.

I remember seeing him outside the Garden and how happy he was to have made the Big Time.

His training facility in Bloomsberg was something else.

It is still a treat to look through his publicity material today. He was ahead of his time in some respects and I always thought a one of a kind. Props, wardrobe, etc. were all first class. Guess the art professor background paid off.
