Things will not be the same, but we can re-visit Johnny extensively through 2 interviews he granted for BANDWAGON. One is in the July-August 2010 issue, as given to Dale Riker. The 2nd is found in the March-April 2012 issue, conducted by Fred Pfening III. Both, as anyone could expect, are good circus from a man with encyclopedic knowledge from 8 decades of life on the road. Rest In Peace, Johnny.

This was likely at John's 80th
birthday party at the club
No they will not, from near and far. Rest in Peace John knowing you have left a grand legacy and myriads of wonderful memories.
God Bless.
It was STANDING ROOM ONLY at the services for Johnny tonite, in Sarasota. Very nice tribute to a GREAT MAN! I am honored to have attended.
Tremendous outpouring of thoughts
& heartfelt memories of a beloved
husband father grandfather & true
friend to so many who filled the
Toale Chapel to overflowing "SRO"
His 4 daughters did their father
proud with their recollections
Granddaughter Cassidy gave a well
thought out tribute & another of
the grandkids texted her thoughts
while on a jump between dates
As a final tribute we were able
to listen to John's famous poem
"A Showman's Heaven" in his own
voice thanks to Shannon Woodcock
who was able to record & play it
for us all to hear tonight
