Also confirming this is a Louis Roth setting is the short seat in the b.g. As noted previously here, most of Roth's seats in that era were wooden, braced with slats, which usually had tin corner pieces fastened with brads. We still had half a dozen of these in my time in Thousand Oaks, and two of them even retained the lion's head decals some photos show.
