Russell Bros. #5

The last days of Orton Bros. Circus, the Great Depression had taken it's toll. Aunt Nellie, Babe (always called so from being the baby of the family) Ida, Aunt Grace and Alice, adopted by the Orton family in infancy. Shortly after this picture was taken my father swooped in from Lancaster and picked up the blushing bride (almost 30 by this time) and they all wound up with Russell Bros. Circus, the Ortons and the Webbs having been long time friends.
