Russell Bros. elephant herd 1936 "Rubber", "Margaret", "Sadie" and "Elsie".
Twenty years later "Margaret" and "Elsie" were in the first act I ever presented in the ring.
Fred Logan was short a herd worker for the Texas dates and asked my father if he could borrow me.
His advice was . "Son, keep your nose clean and your bowels open."
