Miss Loni was among the most loved performers wherever she showed--in the ring, but also where it counts, in the backyard. I remain thankful for the two seasons I knew her, Freddie, and a young Barbara, on Hubert Castle, 1972 & '73. She so stood out, DeMille included her name in his script, and wrote her a letter assuring her that part of THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH's Best Picture Oscar belonged to her. God rest this sweet and lovely star.
