I was 16 years old when I went. The Indian Waters Council of Boy Scouts here in Central South Carolina sponsored the trip. There were about a 100 or so of us that went up, rode The Silver Meteor train up and back. There were several thousand other scouts there from all over the country. It was something I`ll never forget, had a great time. I took some pictures and will try to look them up and send them. Wow, Over 50 years ago, time sure go`s fast!!

Hal,
The Scouts National Jamboree was in Valley Forge in 64. Could this have been part of a pre/post Jamboree trip?

Dad led a contingent from Central Florida to Valley Forge, but they toured Williamsburg and such on the way in. They rode buses to and from.
