I guess this was shortly after
buying B&B but not yet combining
the show names under "TGSOE"
I know I could be brought up on
charges by serious historians for
"doctoring" these images but it
seemed to call for more color
No, but you might be brought up for not knowing that in 1909 the Ringling show opened at the Garden and the Barnum show at the Chicago Coliseum on South Wabash. Only time they tried that.
The stuff I don't know Dave would
fill a few hundred encyclopedias

Whitey's right. And, the RB show did not do well in its Big Apple debut. The new Yorkers wondered who these bucolic westerners were and how dare them take away our B&B.
